Hello,
My name is Kevin Naranjo. I’m a passionate architect and recent graduate with a B.S. in Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. My journey into architecture began in sixth grade when I accompanied my uncle and dad to job sites where they worked on residential homes. Observing the transformation from raw materials to finished spaces sparked a fascination in me, and I knew from that early age that I wanted to build and design homes.
My enthusiasm for architecture was further fueled during high school when I enrolled in introductory architecture courses taught by an NJIT alumnus. Participating in three Technology Student Association (TSA) national competitions was a defining experience for me. I individually placed 30th in the 2D AutoCAD Architecture category out of 100 participants, and as part of a six-student team, we won first place and later sixth place in national competitions for designing tiny homes.
Outside of architecture, I enjoy a variety of hobbies including playing video games, soccer, working on my car, and photography. These interests not only provide a creative outlet but also complement my architectural design skills and help me approach problems from unique perspectives.
As I embark on my professional career, I am eager to apply my skills and experiences to create meaningful and innovative spaces that make a difference in people’s lives.
